The Retail Operations Specialist collaborates closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the effective organization of the stockroom and timely updates of merchandise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Engagement

  • Deliver courteous, professional, and knowledgeable assistance to clients during store hours.
  • Support the training of fellow cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and Mobile POS systems.

Store Presentation

  • Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and organization within the cashier area.
  • Stay informed about and help uphold SEPHORA's merchandising standards.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at minimizing loss and shortage.

Merchandising and Operations

  • Execute the receipt and processing of shipments promptly.
  • Organize and uphold stockroom standards as per company guidelines.
  • Manage transfers, damages, and testers in accordance with company protocols.
  • Verify all visual elements and report any missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Ensure that safety and tidiness standards are consistently met.
  • Communicate any inventory issues or concerns to Supervisors, Assistant Managers, or the Store Manager.
  • Adhere to sampling policies and procedures.
  • Participate in inventory management activities.
  • Selected consultants will receive cross-training in cashier responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail or client service, ideally in a stockroom role.
  • Strong computer, arithmetic, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks while remaining attentive to client and business needs.
  • Proficient time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in a fragrance-rich environment.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to bend and stretch to restock shelves.
