Job Title: Community and Social Services Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community and Social Services Worker to join our team at The Governing Council of The Salvation Army. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing support services to individuals and communities in need.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of community and social services, including case management, program coordination, and client support. You will work closely with clients, community agencies, and other stakeholders to provide holistic support and address the complex needs of individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver case management services to clients, including assessment, planning, and coordination of support.
  • Coordinate and implement community programs and services, including outreach and engagement activities.
  • Provide client support and advocacy, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Liaise with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics to inform program evaluation and research.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., social work, community development).
  • 1-2 years of experience in community and social services, including case management and program coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse client groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
