Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team at ETLAS FREIGHT. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing our transportation fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Finances: Oversee the financial aspects of our transportation operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Shipping Documentation: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Transport Compliance: Ensure that our transportation operations comply with all relevant regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that they are safe, secure, and compliant with regulations.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and services.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor revenue and adjust operations to optimize profitability.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to ensure efficient operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of more than 20 people, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Trucking company.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable, team player, analytical, and proactive.
