About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Dispatcher to join our team at LOAD KING TRANSPORT INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our transportation department, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Team Management: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and present reports to management on key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery rates and transportation costs.
  • Technology and Equipment Management: Maintain and ensure the smooth operation of technology and equipment, including vehicles and communication systems.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Guidance: Solve work-related issues, offer technical guidance, and propose enhancements for efficiency and quality.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Recruit and onboard new team members, providing training on job responsibilities and company policies.
  • Staff Training and Development: Organize staff training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations to assess employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Task Assignment and Feedback: Assign tasks, provide feedback, and evaluate performance to ensure high standards are met.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order necessary materials and equipment to support operations.
  • Operations Planning: Develop work schedules and protocols to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Operations Supervision: Manage and supervise daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
