About the Role:

Eagle Builders is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Safety Advisor/First Aid Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid and emergency response services as per WorkSafe BC legislation
  • Conduct daily site inspections and review hazard assessments to identify potential risks
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures
  • Investigate and report all incidents, near-misses, and first aid occurrences
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and safety managers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and subcontractors on safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training

Requirements:

  • Valid OFA Level 2 First Aid certification
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other safety management software
