Project Overview:
  • Lead the transition from Oracle R11 to Oracle Cloud, ensuring that business operations and data integrity remain unaffected. This upgrade will also necessitate adjustments in related systems such as Azure Integrations, HFM, Salesforce, Gemini, Ariba, Concur, and Workday;
  • Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams, including both technical and functional stakeholders, to establish project scope, timelines, risks, and resource allocation for successful project execution;
  • Ensure that the migration aligns with organizational objectives, compliance standards, and security protocols throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate a detailed project plan that encompasses migration strategies, timelines, resource distribution, and risk management;
  • Work closely with technical teams to evaluate the existing project landscape, including Oracle R11, HFM, Salesforce, Gemini, Ariba, Concur, and Workday, to identify new migration needs and design the future architecture;
  • Engage with functional teams to guarantee a seamless transition of business processes and data from Oracle R11 to Oracle Cloud;
  • Track project advancement, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide consistent updates to stakeholders and executive committees;
  • Identify and address risks that could affect the migration schedule, budget, or data integrity, and resolve any conflicts or challenges that arise during the migration;
  • Conduct evaluations post-migration to confirm the success of the transition and address any issues that may surface afterwards.
Expected Deliverables:
  • A comprehensive project plan detailing migration strategies, tasks, and timelines;
  • Regular progress reports that include updates, risks, and challenges for the project steering committee;
  • Documentation outlining migration requirements, architecture, and design choices;
  • A post-migration assessment report summarizing the success of the migration and key lessons learned.
