Oracle Cloud ERP Migration Director

FX INNOVATION is seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the critical migration from Oracle R11 to Oracle Cloud.

This exciting opportunity will see you spearheading a complex project with significant impact across our organization. You'll be responsible for ensuring a seamless transition while minimizing disruption to business operations and safeguarding data integrity.

Project Scope

The migration encompasses not only the core Oracle ERP system but also its interconnected systems, including Azure Integrations, HFM, Salesforce, Gemini, Ariba, Concur, and Workday. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating these diverse technical landscapes to achieve a successful outcome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute the Migration Strategy: Craft a comprehensive project plan encompassing migration strategy, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Technical Assessment and Design: Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate the existing ecosystem of systems, identify new requirements for the Oracle Cloud environment, and design the future state architecture.
  • Business Process Transition: Work closely with functional teams to ensure a smooth transition of business processes and data from Oracle R11 to Oracle Cloud.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), provide regular updates to stakeholders, and effectively communicate risks and issues to the executive steering committee.
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact migration timelines, budget, or data integrity. Effectively resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the process.
  • Post-Migration Evaluation: Conduct thorough post-migration assessments to validate the success of the migration and address any outstanding issues.
Deliverables

You will be responsible for delivering key project deliverables, including:

  • A detailed project plan outlining the migration strategy, tasks, steps, and timeline.
  • Regular status reports providing updates on progress, risks, and issues to the project steering committee.
  • Comprehensive documentation of migration requirements, architecture, and design decisions.
  • A post-migration evaluation report summarizing the success of the migration and highlighting key lessons learned.
