Job Summary

Mr. Hans Freight Ltd. is seeking a skilled Freight Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to transport goods and merchandise.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery operations.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Sell products to customers over established routes and assemble, install, and set up merchandise as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare, package, and restock goods, and load and unload goods from vehicles.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Air Brakes Endorsement and a Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Training and Development: Participate in diversity and cross-cultural training, and on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
  • Work Schedule: Work 32 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
