About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Freight Assistant to join our team at Mr. Hans Freight Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport tools and equipment on push or hand cars, ensuring they are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Conduct regular checks on freight cars for physical damage and cleanliness, reporting any issues to the relevant team members.
  • Assist trucks and delivery drivers with loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Perform various labouring duties in our warehouses, including receiving and storing goods.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, helping them develop new skills and confidence.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
