Responsibilities

In your capacity as the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operations, you will be tasked with building and nurturing strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders within the healthcare industry. Your role will encompass collaborating with diverse teams to enhance operational efficiency and optimize costs. You will champion supply chain requirements within Interior Health Authority and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Key Duties
  • Supervise performance assessments and maintain accountability standards
  • Tackle challenges by utilizing insights from cross-functional teams
  • Represent Interior Health Authority in governance committees
  • Contribute to the development of provincial supply chain strategies
  • Work with key partners to pinpoint operational enhancements
  • Lead initiatives for change management to improve supply chain practices
  • Formulate and enforce policies and procedures related to procurement and logistics
  • Effectively manage resources, budgets, and fleet operations
  • Prioritize occupational health and safety in all endeavors
  • Support commitments to Truth and Reconciliation and Indigenous hiring preferences
