Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at JJBG Holdings Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, with a high level of flexibility and initiative.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity required to perform the duties of the role. The work schedule will be 30 to 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
