Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Sabitri's Global Cuisine is seeking a dedicated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Hire food service staff
  • Establish work schedules

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment
  • 35 hours per week
