About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at High River Donair and Pizza. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and package take-out food to meet customer expectations
    • Portion and wrap foods to ensure quality and presentation
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to order
    • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Food Handling and Storage
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for food preparation
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation
    • Operate conventional ovens, electronic cash registers, and grills safely and efficiently
  • Customer Service and Teamwork
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
    • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Will train on the job
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
    • Reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
