About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Sweetea Cafe. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and portion food items according to our menu standards
    • Package take-out food and ensure it is ready for customers
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their needs in a friendly and efficient manner
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed
