Kassian Dyck is in search of a skilled Senior Manager of Structural Engineering to strengthen our leadership team. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to pursue fulfilling ownership objectives.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • overseeing projects and company operations within a collaborative framework
  • engaging and coordinating with clients and team members
  • fostering client relationships, marketing initiatives, and business growth
  • inspiring and guiding team members to align with the firm's mission, vision, and values
  • offering performance evaluations and acknowledging team members' accomplishments
  • reviewing and validating engineering calculations produced by others
  • conducting engineering calculations independently
  • mentoring, delegating, and providing direction to engineers

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage)
  • Fully licensed P.Eng. (Structural Engineering and P.E. licensure is a plus)
  • Outstanding organizational and English communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical expertise and thorough knowledge of Canadian design codes and standards (experience with US design codes is beneficial)
  • Proficiency with contemporary structural design and analysis software
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively

This position is in-office at our Calgary location and does not offer remote work options.

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, alongside our firm's healthcare benefits and RRSP plan.
