Civil Structural Engineering Department Manager

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Civil Structural Engineering Department Manager to lead our Civil Engineering team at Equinox Engineering Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and management of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Department Management: Responsible for the management of the Civil Structural Engineering department, including planning, organizing, and controlling resources to achieve departmental goals.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor engineers and supporting staff to ensure the department has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver projects successfully.
- Project Management: Estimate engineering hours and manage civil scope for projects, ensuring that civil designs meet the requirements of both the client and Equinox.
- Design and Delivery: Provide designs on a variety of project sizes ranging from well pads to large plants, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Quality and Accuracy: Ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables, aligning with client expectations and company standards.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other disciplines and work closely with international locations to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Business Development: Assist with business development and client relationships to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements:
- Education: Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Canada and a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with specialization in Structures.
- Experience: Minimum 20+ years of oil and gas experience, with a strong background in EPCM and international structural codes and standards.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and management skills, with proficiency in Structural software RISA 3D, Dyna 6, or equivalent.
