Ensure efficient and prompt service in the receiving, preparation, and shipping of goods to external clients. Responsibilities may be interchangeable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving:
• Unload merchandise;
• Verify received goods;
• Enter receipts into our inventory system;
• Safely store goods in designated warehouse locations;
• Address supplier discrepancies.
Preparation:
• Assemble customer orders;
• Ensure compliance with special requests noted on shipping documents.
Shipping:
• Confirm order accuracy;
• Package customer orders according to specifications;
• Process shipments in our system and that of the carrier.
General Duties:
• Safety is a collective responsibility: ensure safe working practices, adhere to health and safety standards, and remain aware of your surroundings;
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas;
• Respect tools, equipment, and the work environment;
• Report any damages to a supervisor.
SUCCESS METRICS
• Order accuracy;
• Number of orders processed;
• Service level (internal).
RECRUITMENT CRITERIA
• High school diploma;
• Less than one year of experience in a similar role.
