Job Summary:


This position at UPS is responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving packages. The employee may operate heavy machinery to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Learns and properly executes UPS package handling procedures.
  • Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.


Compensation and Benefits:



  • Starting hourly rate: $17.30/hour + $0.50/hour bonus
  • Maximum rate: $25.81/hour (after probation and 48-month progression)
  • Approximately 5 hours per day
  • Tuition reimbursement (up to $3,000)
  • Overtime after 5 hours of work


Requirements:



  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs/32 kgs
  • Ability to read and memorize postal codes
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week


Shift Schedule:


Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
