Position Overview

We are in search of a Regular Full-Time Clinical Operations Executive (FTE 1.0).

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborating with the Managing Partner or designated Management Committee Members, the Clinical Operations Executive is responsible for the comprehensive management and strategic oversight of EFW's clinical sectors.

This role requires inspiring leadership to ensure that strategic goals and operational plans are executed effectively, promoting a seamless and efficient service delivery aligned with EFW's core values and strategic priorities. The Executive will work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement aimed at enhancing the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs clinical service operations across EFW Radiology, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in alignment with EFW's values and strategic goals.
  • Establishes the operational framework and infrastructure necessary to support service delivery, managing all human, financial, and capital resources to enhance patient experiences.
  • Ensures compliance with clinical practice standards, regulatory statutes, and internal policies to guarantee patient safety and clinical integrity.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Finance to develop and oversee the operational and capital budget for programs, utilizing forecasting and clinical data to meet financial objectives.
  • Assesses the effectiveness of patient care initiatives, implementing strategies to ensure consistent adherence to standards.
  • Manages complaints and critical incidents, ensuring thorough investigations in line with EFW policies, and addresses patient care issues in a supportive and timely manner.
  • Leads large-scale operational projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adheres to all privacy and confidentiality policies regarding EFW, patients, and employees.
  • Performs additional related duties as necessary.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Communicates a clear strategic vision and sets realistic expectations to engage and motivate team members.
  • Provides coaching, development, and mentorship to the operations team, offering ongoing support as needed.
  • Manages the performance of direct reports, motivating team members to achieve objectives and conducting regular performance evaluations.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate or master's degree in healthcare administration or business administration, with a minimum of 10 years of progressively senior management experience in a healthcare environment.
  • A clinical designation in an imaging modality is advantageous.
  • Proven supervisory experience leading a diverse team of healthcare professionals is essential.
  • Ability to build a cohesive team, inspire a shared vision, and align performance goals collaboratively.
  • Strong conflict management skills and the ability to facilitate resolution of issues.
  • Proficient in data and financial analysis, with strong problem-solving skills and operational acumen.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to establish rapport with all levels of staff, including clerical, technical, and medical personnel.

  • Flexible working hours are necessary to meet the demands of the position.
  • Ability to work at any EFW location and provide personal transportation.
  • Must be able to spend extended periods at a desk using a computer and performing close visual tasks.
