Sales Associate

At Manitoulin Transport, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Associate Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating quotes, developing customer relationships, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond timely to customer inquiries and provide accurate information on pricing, delivery, and technical details.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Proactively review open orders to ensure timely delivery and address any potential delays with vendors and customers.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales activities.
- Work collaboratively with the ASPM to achieve sales targets and meet company forecasts.
- Update customer call notes in our CRM system in a timely manner.
- Provide customer demos on our online platform and complete sales reports on a regular basis.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (diploma or degree).
- Previous experience in customer service or inside sales.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support all functions to achieve objectives.
- Computer literacy with good data entry skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.
- Previous experience with supply chain and distribution is an asset.
