Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at St. Michael's Health Group. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by preparing, handling, and serving food in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to residents and visitors in a safe and efficient manner
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, floors, and walls to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
- Operate the dishwasher and other machines to support food preparation and service
- Porter hot food carts and assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food Safe Handling course preferred
- Experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Food service or related hospitality courses an asset
