About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Saw San Elzein. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to elderly and disabled individuals in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to meet clients' dietary needs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working with elderly and disabled individuals an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and dependability
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in clients' homes, providing care and support in a safe and comfortable environment. Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis.
