Position Overview

The Reservations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our booking processes at TownePlace Suites London. This permanent position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Scheduling: Develop and implement effective work schedules and procedures for the team.
  • Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of a team of 5-10 staff members, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on operational performance.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any operational challenges, providing expert advice to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Client Assistance: Support guests with special requirements, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Training: Recruit, train, and mentor staff on job responsibilities and safety protocols.
  • System Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer systems and equipment, coordinating repairs as necessary.
  • Booking Management: Handle reservations for package tours, providing accurate fare quotes and negotiating terms.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contracts and assist in budget preparation.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service, conduct sales calls, and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize MS Office and reservation software to analyze trends and support decision-making.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program lasting 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role.

Skills and Competencies
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage a large workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Outlook, data analysis, reservation software, and Salesforce.
