About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our team at Air Canada. As a key member of our IT and Cybersecurity Compliance team, you will play a critical role in developing and driving IT risk and cybersecurity compliance strategies, policies, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Risk Management: Identify and assess potential information technology and cybersecurity risks, and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and develop recommendations to address them.
  • Compliance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance strategy to ensure Air Canada's IT and cybersecurity risks are managed effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to stakeholders across the organization on IT and cybersecurity risks and mitigation planning.
  • Audit and Compliance: Work with enterprise risk groups and coordinate internal and external audits to ensure Air Canada's compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: A relevant university degree or technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role.
  • Experience: 4 or more years of IT audit, risk management, or compliance experience, with experience in PCI, 52-109, SOC2, or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is an asset.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
