Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

The Only Cafe is seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of servers and hosts/hostesses.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of servers and hosts/hostesses.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
