Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

The Only Cafe is seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the restaurant's daily operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to create and manage the restaurant's budget, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.
