Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing data workflows and propose enhancements based on current industry practices and expert business insights.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ascertain analytical and design requirements.
  • Utilize diverse data analysis and organization tools to identify the most significant insights.
  • Execute data products curated by our Chief Data Office, alongside tailored data models for optimal application.
  • Guarantee data quality and integrity across multiple data sources and systems to maintain accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Enhance data pipelines for improved performance and scalability.
  • Offer technical assistance to swiftly address escalated incidents or outages.
  • Create and document comprehensive solution designs, sharing your expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish system performance and development standards, then create functional, technical, and design specifications.
  • Design solutions that leverage existing reusable components, ensuring alignment with business requirements and that new modules are crafted with reusability in mind.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proficient in relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Capability to write SQL queries.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Java and Spring frameworks.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, ADLS, ADF, Spark, Kafka, and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Understanding of Capital Markets.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
