Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing data workflows and propose enhancements informed by industry standards and expert business insights.
  • Collaborate closely with teams to ascertain analysis and design requirements.
  • Utilize diverse data analysis and organization tools to identify the most significant opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement data solutions developed by our Chief Data Office, along with tailored data models for optimal application.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of data across multiple sources and systems, guaranteeing accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Enhance data pipelines for efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide technical assistance to swiftly address escalated incidents or outages.
  • Create and document comprehensive solution designs, sharing your expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish performance and development standards, then create functional, technical, and design specifications.
  • Design solutions that leverage existing reusable components, aligning with business requirements, while ensuring new modules are built with reusability in mind.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in data engineering.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring frameworks.
  • Experience with big data technologies: Hadoop, HDFS, ADLS, ADF, Spark, Kafka, Databricks.
  • Familiarity with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra.
Preferred:
  • Experience with Python and Scala.
  • 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets.
