Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Country Market. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough and batters for a range of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats. Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality products and excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that products meet established standards.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or food service environment.
- Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Accurate: Ensure accuracy in all aspects of job duties.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Dependability: Demonstrate reliability and dependability in all aspects of job duties.
- Judgement: Use sound judgement in decision-making and problem-solving.
