Vertex is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk.
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for calculating, preparing, and issuing account-related documents, such as invoices, inventory statements, and account statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare account-related documents using computerized systems.
- Code, total, batch, record, and verify transactions, including accounts payable, payroll, orders, checks, invoices, and statements.
- Compile budget data and documents based on revenue and expenditure estimates.
- Prepare cost or periodic statements or reports.
- Calculate material costs, overheads, and other expenses from estimates, quotes, and price lists.
- Respond to customer requests for information and maintain good customer relations.
Requirements:
- Resourcefulness and autonomy in work.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
