Vertex is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk.

A local company is looking for several accounts payable clerks to join their team. If you have experience in the field and are looking for full-time, permanent, daytime employment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Job Responsibilities:

- Calculate, prepare and issue account-related documents, such as invoices, inventory statements, account statements and other financial statements, using computerized systems.

Code, total, batch, record, and verify and reconcile transactions, such as accounts payable, payroll, orders, checks, invoices, check requests, and statements banking.

Compile budget data and documents based on revenue and expenditure estimates and previous budgets.

Prepare cost or periodic statements or reports.

Calculate material costs, overheads and other expenses from estimates, quotes and price lists.

Respond to customer requests for information, maintain good customer relations and resolve problems.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
