Position Overview

RWH Engineering Inc. is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the successful execution of engineering projects.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints to ascertain dimensions and material specifications for structures or systems.
  • Assist in the formulation of engineering specifications and technical drawings.
  • Engage in field surveys, inspections, and technical assessments.
  • Compile construction specifications, cost estimates, and material requirements.
  • Develop engineering designs and comprehensive drawings.
  • Establish project timelines and schedules.
  • Oversee or perform field surveys, inspections, technical evaluations, and testing of construction materials.
Supervisory Responsibilities

May supervise a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced setting requiring strong attention to detail.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Working Language: English
  • Work Hours: 39 hours per week
