About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team at RWH Engineering Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of engineering specifications, drawings, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine structural dimensions and material requirements
  • Assist in creating engineering specifications and drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to gather data and inform project decisions
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to support project planning and execution
  • Develop and maintain engineering designs and drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to develop project schedules and ensure timely completion
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials to ensure quality and safety
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Fluency in English
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 39-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
