Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Associate to join our team at Tomas the Cook / Specklebellys pub. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in a timely and efficient manner, handling cash, credit, debit, travellers cheques, and room billings.
  • Describe menu items including daily specials to customers, highlighting the unique features and benefits of each dish.
  • Advise on menu selections to ensure that customers make informed choices that meet their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Greet patrons and provide a warm welcome, presenting menus and making recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all orders are accurate and delivered to the correct table.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the food service industry is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Term: Permanent position available.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
