Job Title: Rehabilitation Assistant

Job Summary:

Lifemark Seniors Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support to our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the treatment of our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the treatment of senior residents
  • Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by supervising Physiotherapists
  • Conduct exercise classes and maintain a safe and tidy treatment area
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding resident status and treatment interventions
  • Complete daily treatment records as directed

Requirements:

  • Rehabilitation Assistant/Exercise Therapist/Physical Education academic background
  • Previous experience working in a Seniors' care setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and independent
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector screening check
