Culinary Preparation Specialist

Position Overview:
The Culinary Preparation Specialist is accountable for the meticulous preparation of dishes in accordance with the restaurant's established standards and recipes. This role is pivotal in ensuring a remarkable and distinctive Guest Experience by adhering to the Steps of SIRvice, thereby mastering the Art of Hospitality and delivering an authentic and delightful experience for every Guest consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and dishes following specific recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Physical Demands:
- Capability to bend and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. to waist height.
- Ability to transport items weighing up to 50 lbs. over distances of up to 25 feet.
- Capacity to remain on foot and active for shifts lasting 8-12 hours.
- Tolerance for exposure to varying temperatures, both cold (below -18°C) and hot (above 60°C), throughout the work period.
- Ability to hear and respond to requests in a busy kitchen environment.
- Proficiency in using hands for kitchen tasks, including chopping and assembling food items.
Essential Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Availability to work during all operational hours of the restaurant.
- Food Handler Certification is preferred.
- Reliable means of transportation to and from the workplace.
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory and measurement tasks.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting or culinary training is advantageous.
- Ability to comprehend and execute instructions from supervisors.
