Position Overview

CB Canada is seeking a qualified crisis management professional to deliver workplace trauma response and organizational crisis management services on a contract basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to requests for on-site crisis management services, ensuring a clinically appropriate and professional approach tailored to the specific needs of each incident and organizational culture.
  • Provide on-site crisis management services, including individual and group interventions, debriefings, and consultations with corporate clients.
  • Maintain close communication with crisis management supervisors throughout the service delivery process.
  • Accurately document services provided in accordance with organizational standards.
Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in workplace crisis management.
  • Formal training in trauma response, psychological first aid, and critical incident response (e.g., CISM; NOVA, Psychological First Aid, or equivalent accredited training).
  • Registration or clinical membership with a relevant governing body.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise specified by CB Canada.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French is an advantage.
  • Flexibility and availability to respond after hours as needed during weekdays and weekends.
  • Exceptional assessment, crisis management, and customer service skills.
  • Proven clinical judgment and intervention skills to support traumatic events affecting employees and the workplace.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook).
