Job Title: Event Experience Specialist

About the Role:

The Event Experience Specialist plays a pivotal role within the Event Experience & Design Department at Encore Global, specializing in event decor and design, team management, and project coordination. This role is responsible for supporting and working alongside the talented team of event designers, project coordinators, and administrators, ensuring meticulous planning and seamless execution of numerous events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Event Design and Concept Development:

    • Collaborate closely with event designers to develop creative concepts that align with client visions and objectives.

    • Lead select projects, taking charge of event layouts, themes, and decor design to create memorable experiences that exceed client expectations.

    • Assist and provide direction to other designers, ensuring the delivery of innovative and high-quality event designs that meet the company's standards.
  2. Financial Performance and Project Management:

    • Take ownership of assigned projects, overseeing their execution from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

    • Coordinate with various internal teams to ensure meticulous planning and execution of events, including logistics, vendor management, and client communication.
  3. Event Planning and Production Scheduling:

    • Develop comprehensive event timelines, production schedules, and critical paths for efficient event execution, ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders and team members.
  4. Event Execution and On-site Management:

    • Manage on-site aspects of select events, addressing issues and ensuring smooth execution as needed, maintaining a positive client experience.
  5. Client Management and Relationship Building:

    • Cultivate strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  6. General Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams within Encore Global to ensure the smooth coordination of event projects, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Job Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a related field, such as event management, hospitality, or a related field, is preferred but not required.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in event production, decor and design, including project management, is required.
  3. Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities are essential for success in this role.
  4. Proficiency in event management software and computer applications is required.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members are necessary.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members will use high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore Global based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area.
