About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Oyster Harbour Senior Community. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Practitioners: Collaborate with healthcare practitioners during examinations and treatments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions to maintain comprehensive medical records.
  • Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop effective care plans.
  • Disease Screening: Conduct disease screening to detect potential health issues and provide timely interventions.
  • Nursing Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervision: Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care and team performance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as charting, reporting, and communication with healthcare teams.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a nursing role.
  • Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
