About the RoleWe are looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Nurse Next Door team member, you will be responsible for creating Happier Aging experiences for our clients, working collaboratively with our Care Designers to develop and implement personalized care plans, and providing exceptional care and support to our clients and their families.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to clients in their homes, including wound care, immunization, and chronic disease management.
- Work collaboratively with our Care Designers to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Provide exceptional care and support to clients and their families, including assistance with activities of daily living, transportation, and companionship.
- Meet safety standards and use equipment safely and accurately.
- Function within the limits of your experience and knowledge, and practice safely and competently within the job description.
- 1 year of previous home care experience helping clients with activities of daily living.
- Actively practicing acute nursing, including wound care, immunization, and chronic disease management.
- Up-to-date Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate and First Aid.
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and one year of recent related experience in gerontological nursing.
- Negative TB Test completed within the last 2 years.
- Minimum 1 year LPN/RN experience, home health care experience an asset.
- Valid driver's license and car required.
