Wood is Seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our Mining & Minerals business in Saskatoon, SK. This role will be responsible for providing design activities for civil earthworks, underground utilities for mine sites, and heavy industrial facilities.

Our Mining & Minerals business provides consulting and EPCM services for leading mining companies worldwide, executing projects on five continents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop civil earthworks and underground utilities for mine sites and heavy industrial facilities
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  3. Mentor junior engineers and design personnel to ensure knowledge transfer and growth
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  1. Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering
  2. 5-10 years of experience in earthwork and underground utilities design on heavy industrial projects
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  5. Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Saskatchewan
  6. Experience with Civil 3D software is an asset
