Job Title: Civil Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at Englobe. As a key member of our Structural team, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure projects that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general project engineering duties under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
  • Work with the project team to prepare technical reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Design and develop structural systems for infrastructure projects, including hydraulic structures, industrial buildings, and steel structures.
  • Provide QA/QC support during construction and perform construction administration, coordination, and supervision duties.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their project objectives are met and apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University, with a focus on structural engineering.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Aptitude for general construction methods and previous field-work experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience or knowledge with design software is considered an asset.
  • Class 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle for out-of-town work as required.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
