Producer - CityNews Toronto

We're seeking a talented Producer to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our news operation, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the CityNews brand and creating engaging content for our audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the creation of original and breaking news content for our streaming channels, daily news programs, and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the assignment desk, reporters, production team, and national producers to determine story coverage plans.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues on the fly, while vetting scripts and keeping an eye out for breaking news.
  • Ensure our stories adhere to the Rogers News Policy and follow the principles laid out in our Inclusive Content Guide.
