We are currently looking for a Senior Java Developer with a focus on Azure technologies to join our dedicated software development team, working on mission-critical applications.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing microservices using Java and the Spring framework throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement microservices leveraging Java and Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
  • Develop GraphQL APIs to enhance data querying and manipulation capabilities.
  • Engage in daily stand-ups, system architecture discussions, API development, and project planning sessions.
  • Deploy applications in Azure cloud environments and provide ongoing production support, including Azure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Guide and mentor both onshore and offshore engineering teams, promoting best practices, conducting code reviews, and addressing complex technical challenges.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Grid, Azure App Service, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of data persistence technologies and optimization strategies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Have experience with API technologies and concepts, including REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, Swagger, and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins is advantageous.
  • Experience with JavaScript and the React framework is a plus.
Qualifications
  • 9 to 12 years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on clean coding practices in a microservices architecture.
  • Proven hands-on experience in designing and developing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Azure services, including Azure MFA.
  • Relevant experience with API technologies, particularly GraphQL.
  • Experience in solution architecture and familiarity with JavaScript and React framework is desirable.
