Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Clerk to join our Finance team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to ensure the smooth operation of our financial functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable: Process and manage accounts payable, including prompt payment of invoices, expense reimbursements, and other cheque requests.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable, including prompt issuance of AR invoices and follow-up to ensure invoices are collectible within 60 days.
  • Corporate Visa Expense Entries: Responsible for sending out visa statements, follow-up on any outstanding visa reconciliations, and prepare journal entries.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Assist with completing bank reconciliation and month-end journal entries as needed.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly actual vs. budget reports to directors.
  • Other Duties: Perform other ad-hoc duties as needed to support the Finance team.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma program in Accounting at a reputable institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Professional work ethic and ability to exercise good judgment.
