We are a reputable accounting firm seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional bookkeeping services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related tasks.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, and spreadsheet software.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
