The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher for Intermediate Cycle to join our team. As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in the Intermediate Cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students in the Intermediate Cycle
  • Teach Mathematics to students in a classroom setting
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement strategies to support student learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Qualification as a specialist in the field of Mathematics
  • Recent experience teaching Mathematics full-time in a school or in administration in a school board
  • Experience of 2 years in implementing the Ontario curriculum in this subject
  • Up-to-date qualification confirmation in the field
  • Manifest ability to apply the Standards of Practice of the profession and the Code of Ethics of the Ontario College of Teachers
