Job Title: International & Indigenous Languages (Secondary) Program Teacher - Russian

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced teacher to join our team as an International & Indigenous Languages (Secondary) Program Teacher - Russian. This is a unique opportunity to work with students and contribute to the development of their language skills.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, working 32 Saturdays from September to June, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Russian language and culture to students in grades 9-12.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Russian language and culture to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills
Requirements:
  • Registered with the Ontario College of Teachers and hold a Certificate of Qualification (or equivalent) in the Intermediate/Senior divisions
  • Teaching experience
  • Knowledge of and fluency in the Russian language (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing)
  • Comfortable teaching online
What We Offer:
