Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team at Tejas Solutions. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
  • Problem-Solving: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Training and Development: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use our systems effectively.
  • Incident Management: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, ensuring that incidents are properly documented and resolved.
  • Collaboration: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet the needs of our users.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, ability to multitask, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
