We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead our Canadian strategic operational functions. This role will be responsible for overseeing the operations at our chemical manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario, as well as providing operational oversight to our equipment and service divisions in Cambridge and Calgary.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency.
- Oversee the management of all company-owned facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish priorities and drive results.
- Develop and implement Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to optimize business operations and reduce costs.
- Provide guidance and support to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate results to ensure that the organization's objectives and operating requirements are met.
- Minimum 10 years of operational and manufacturing experience in a leadership capacity.
- Post-secondary education related to Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
- High level of manufacturing expertise with direct experience leading Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to guide and influence.
